1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using stocksfast.io ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

stocksfast.io is a technical analysis and stock scanning platform that allows users to create and execute custom stock screening queries using StonQL (Stock Temporal ObservatioN Query Language).

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

3.4 Personal Use

Your account is personal to you. Registration, your login credentials, and your use of the Service belong to one person, and you may not share, transfer, or operate the account on anyone else's behalf. This depends on who is using the account, not who is paying for it: paying through a company card, an LLC, or an expense reimbursement does not change anything, as long as you are the one using it.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Pricing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is available on our Pricing page.

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing interval you select at checkout
  • Scan packs are charged once, at the time of purchase
  • Payment is processed through Stripe
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees
  • All fees are in USD

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are issued at our discretion. Cancelling a subscription stops future billing; your current billing period runs to its end. Statutory consumer rights under the law of your country of residence apply in addition to these Terms.

4.4 Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period
  • No prorated refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • You will retain access to premium features until your subscription expires
  • Scan packs are one-time purchases; they do not expire and are not cancellable

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will apply to your next billing cycle.

4.6 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. Continued payment failures may result in suspension or termination of your subscription.

4.7 Scope of Your License

Your subscription, anything else you buy on your account, and everything your account can reach and any credentials issued to it, are licensed to you individually. You may not share, pool, resell, or transfer any of it. Publishing results you produce with the Service is covered by section 5.3.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Collect data from the Service by automated means, unless you do it through an interface we provide for that purpose
  • Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent limitations
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service

The automated-collection exception covers our documented interfaces, used with credentials issued to your account and within the limits published for them, and it covers crawling our public pages within the limits set in robots.txt. It does not cover taking data from the web application in place of a provided interface, collecting where credentials are required and none are presented, or working around a rate limit, usage quota, or pagination limit.

5.3 Sharing and Publishing Results

You can publish results you produce with the Service. Run a scan, pick what you want to share, and publish it as a blog post, a newsletter, a social post, a video, or a link from our own share feature. It makes no difference whether you charge people to read it, and it makes no difference which channel you use.

You need our written permission before the same channel becomes a place where people get their own answers instead of reading what you published: a dashboard, a screener, an alert feed, or a bot that runs scans on request. A newsletter or a Discord server is fine for posting results and needs our permission the moment it starts taking requests and running scans for the people there.

Either way, nobody but you may use your account or credentials issued to you to make requests against the Service. That means no proxying or relaying requests through your access, no putting your credentials in something other people use, and no endpoint standing behind your account answering other people's requests.

5.4 Organizational Use

Team, desk, institutional, and enterprise use is available separately. Contact support@stocksfast.io and we will work out terms, pricing, and rate limits with you. A license we grant covers the use we describe in it and nothing else.

Until we agree to it in writing, organizational use is not authorized under the standard plans.

We decide what a standard plan covers. If you are not sure whether what you want to do is covered, ask us before you build it.

6. Data and Market Information

6.1 Data Sources

Stock market data is provided through third-party data providers. Data accuracy and availability are subject to the terms and limitations of these providers.

6.2 No Investment Advice

IMPORTANT: The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. We do not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. All information, data, and tools are provided "as is" without warranty. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Always consult with qualified financial professionals before making investment decisions.

6.3 No Warranties on Data

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data. Data may contain errors, delays, or omissions. Use the Service at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by stocksfast.io and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any custom scans, watchlists, or other content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use this content to provide and improve the Service.

7.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use them without any obligation to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim
  • We are not responsible for investment losses or decisions based on information from the Service

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless stocksfast.io, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your investment decisions based on the Service

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Technical issues
  • Third-party data provider outages
  • Force majeure events

13. Governing Law and Disputes

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Salt Lake City, Utah, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and stocksfast.io.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
